WINTER JOURNEY

The wind kissed our faces as a cold blade, our feet were being blessed with the melted mixture of salt, snow and mud. We were walking down the street, admiring all things that inhabits the floor which gets a chance to fly: plastic are the ones that fly the most high. I can see pieces of his scarf trembling, at the same rhythm than my bones do. This weather makes people lose their faces.
We become a mass of coats and hoods that navigate in the space. The surface of the floor denounces everything that moves, there is this noise of a boiling thick soup in each step we make, sometimes the mouth also shakes, but mostly it creates a vapor like the chimney of an old train. The winter turning us into a locomotive while we walk.

Csaba said: “Heyyyyy! I heard about an exhibition, wanna come with me?”
“well, we can check, but usually visual arts confuse me…” I answer.
Csaba interrupts saying: “Does happen to me sometimes, because is like seeing different choreographies all at the same time, you know all the different pieces…”
Csaba asks: “what would you do if you could be on a gallery by yourself?”
I:“Could I do anything?”
Csaba:“yes, is a hypothesis… you can do anything”
I:“I don’t know, depend what would I found there…”

So than they walked to the Gallery… and never got back.

Winer Journey the second creation from Csaba Molnar and Marcio Canabarro is a performance that looks for ways of intensifying the sensorial experience of the viewer, reaching beyond the dance field. This time they depart by the wish to create a piece for a gallery space, having the chance to immerse the audience in the universe that is being created, once the viewer stands right where the actions happen.
